Originally from Mumbai, India, Suvidha completed her Bachelor’s degree at Mumbai University in 2016 and continued to pursue her Master’s degree from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. While studying for Masters she was selected for unique opportunity in collaboration with Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany to pursue additional degree Master of Science in same filed of Communication Engineering. She did her internship and master thesis at Commsolid GmbH, Dresden, Germany focused on power efficient physical layer design for peer-to-peer link between NB-IoT UE. After finishing her MS from Germany in 2019, she worked as a Research and Development Engineer at IS-Wireless, Poland participating in various H2020 projects and internal product contributing several novel algorithms and policies in the area of RAN, RRM, beyond 5G, Slicing, Cell-less etc. Since October 2020, she is an ESR at Iquadrat Informatica SL, Barcelona, Spain in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska Curie ITN SEMANTIC project focused on end-to-end network slicing and orchestration under the supervision of Dr. John Vardakas. Name: Shahwaiz Ur Rehman

Brief CV:

Shahwaiz Ur Rehman received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (Communication) from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2014, From September, 2014 to February, 2017, he worked in Huawei Technologies, Pakistan as a RF Engineer and from March, 2017 to March, 2018 he worked in Ericsson, Pakistan as a Network Optimization Engineer. Afterwards, he achieved his M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication (Information and Communication Technology) from Poznan University of Technology, Poznan, Poland in 2019. He participated at the Erasmus+ Study Programme at Technical University Kaiserslautern, Kaiserslautern, Germany. He also worked as an Assistant Researcher in Technical University Kaiserslautern where he completed his thesis on Network Slicing for V2X communication: The Interaction between Operator and Tenant over QoS Metrics.

Later on, he worked in IS-Wireless, Poland as a 5G RAN Protocol Engineer from September, 2019 until September, 2020. Since October 2020, he has been an Early Stage Researcher at Iquadrat Informatica S.L, Barcelona, Spain, within Marie-Curie ITN Semantic Project. His supervisors are Dr. John Vardakas and Dr. Kostas Ramantas. Date of incorporation: October 13th, 2020.

Name: Madhura Adeppady

Brief CV:

Madhura Adeppady has received her bachelor of engineering degree in information science and engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, India, in 2015. She has completed her Master of Technology (Research Assistant) degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, in 2020. Before joining the master of technology, she worked in Sprinklr, a customer experience management platform, as a software development engineer at test (SDET). She has done her MTech thesis on “Dynamic Resource Allocation for Addressing Performance Interference in NFV-based Systems.” Her research areas include mobile services and network virtualization, and performance evaluation. Now she has joined as an ESR at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in the framework of Marie Curie ITN SEMANTIC. Date of incorporation: November 1st, 2020.

Name: Yevhenii Osadchuk

Brief CV:

Yevhenii Osadchuk is a researcher from Ukraine who received his honors MSc degree in physics from V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine in 2018. During the postgraduate study, he spent his first year at Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Kosice as an Erasmus+ student and second year as a scholar of the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic, working on the magnetic materials and low-temperature physics. In 2018 Yevhenii joined the two-year joint master’s degree pogramme – SMARTNET studying his first year at the University of Athens in Greece and second year at Aston University, UK. His MSc thesis research focused on neural networks application for nonlinearities mitigations in optical fibers. In 2020 he joined the Marie-Curie ITN SEMANTIC program as a Ph.D. student at the University of Athens.

Name: Paraskevi Papadopoulou

Brief CV:

Paraskevi Papadopoulou received the Diploma of Information and Communication Systems Engineering from the University of the Aegean in 2017, and the M.Sc. in Mobile Communication Systems from the University of Surrey in 2019. Her work is focused on channel coding and short blocklength transmissions. She has received a partial scholarship for the 2nd and 3rd International Summer School on Emerging Architectures and Key Technologies for 5G Networks, organized by the University of the Aegean. She has participated in an Erasmus+ Traineeship with the 5G Innovation Centre, University of Surrey in 2018, focusing on NOMA transmissions. She has participated in an Erasmus+ Traineeship with the Electronic Systems Group, Eindhoven University of Technology in 2019, focusing on AI-enhanced channel coding approaches for URLLC. She is an IEEE student member, and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. She currently holds an Early Stage Researcher position through the Marie Skłodowska Curie ITN SEMANTIC with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
